  • Nyota bouquet. This will offer you 35 channels and will cost Ksh299 per month
  • Basic bouquet . This will offer you 56 channels and will cost Ksh599 per month
  • Classic bouquet. This will offer 75 channels and will cost you Ksh899 per month

Each StarTimes decoder has a smart card that has a number. You will need that number while paying for the bouquet using StarTimes paybill number. The StarTimes paybill number in 585 858.

How To Pay StarTimes Package Using M-pesa

After getting the decoder number and the required amount in the M-pesa, follow the following steps to pay for the subscription.

  1. Go to Mpesa menu on your Safaricom line
  2. Select lipa na Mpesa
  3. Select Paybill option
  4. Enter paybill number 585 858 as the business number
  5. Enter your StarTimes Smart Card Number as the account number
  6. Enter the amount you wish to pay as per your subscribed package
  7. Enter your Mpesa PIN number
  8. Click send

You will then receive a confirmation SMS from both Mpesa and StarTimes confirming your payment. Remember M-pesa paybill charges will apply.

How To Change Your StarTimes Bouquet

Sometimes before you make payment, you may decide to upgrade or downgrade your StarTimes package. You can now do it from your phone by the use of StarTimes USSD code *858#. Here are the steps on how to change the bouquet;

  1. Dial and call *858# on either Safaricom or Airtel line
  2. From the options presented, select Change Package option
  3. Choose decoder type, Digital Decoder (Antenna) or Dish Decoder (Satellite)
  4. Choose the bouquet of your choice
  5. Input your Smart Card Number (First 11 digits)
  6. Follow through with instructions to complete the switch of StarTimes package
