Dhabiti Sacco opened banking services in Maua town in 1991 at Meru North Farmers Sacco building currently known as Dhabiti Sacco building. The Sacco was founded by coffee farmers from Igembe Cooperative society as well as Miathene Cooperative society. The Sacco changed its name to Dhabiti Sacco Limited in 2012.

Membership requires one to provide an entrance fee of 500 shillings, have membership shares of 1000 shillings and maintain an active account.

Here is how to use the pay bill number to access the services conveniently;

  • Go to M-PESA menu in your SIM tool kit or Safaricom app
  • Select lipa na m-pesa
  • Select pay bill
  • Enter Dhabiti Sacco paybill number 524200 as the business number
  • Enter your ID number or member number as the account number
  • Enter the amount you wish to deposit
  • Put in your pin. Verify the details then send
  • You will receive a confirmation message from Safaricom on the success of your transaction and the Sacco.
