Cooperative University College Master’s Degree

The Cooperative University is a relatively new public university in Kenya having received its charter in 2016. As such, the university has not been able to develop many post graduate courses liker her peers like University of Nairobi or Kenyatta University.

How ever the university is committed to expanding its offerings and will offer more Master’s degree programs in future. Currently, the following Master degree programmes are offered.

1. Master of Co-operative Management

  • The minimum requirements shall be a master’s degree in the field of co-operative or business-related field from an accredited education institution or completion of KNQF level 9.

2. Master of Community Development

  • A holder of Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Co-operative Management.

3. Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with: At least Upper Second Class Honours or
  • Lower Second Class Honours and proven evidence of research or three (3) years relevant work experienceor
  • Pass with five (5) years’ work experience post qualification experience. or
  • Pass with Postgraduate Diploma
