Certificate Course Entry Requirements

For one to be admitted for a certificate course at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, one has to meet the following minimum requirements;

  • Be a holder of KCSE certificate with a minimum D+ or
  • KCSE D- with 3 years work experience in relevant field
  • A certificate of experimental learning as per the National Qualification Framework Authority (NQFA)
  • Be a holder of any qualification accepted by Dedan Kimathi University Senate as equivalent to any of the above requirements.
